Firefighters called to 465 Hamilton Avenue shortly before midnight Sunday, April 14, found the body while dousing the flames in the basement of the 2½ wood-frame home, authorities confirmed mid-Monday morning. Mom, 73, Son Found Shot Dead In Clifton Home
A 73-year-old grandmother and her 33-year-old son were found shot dead in her Clifton home, authorities confirmed on Wednesday. Investigators said Peter Koc apparently fired the shots that killed him and Zofia Koc in the 3rd Street home that she and his late father bought when was a toddler. Fire department boats were summoned to the Hillery Street Bridge in Totowa, where a large number of police and Passaic County sheriff's officers had gathered around 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 7. A stolen car slammed head-on into a tree and burst into flames in Woodland Park before dawn Tuesday, killing an as-yet unidentified occupant, authorities said. Members of West Paterson Fire Department doused the blaze and extricated the deceased victim after the 2012 Ford Mustang crashed on McBride Avenue near Hughes Place around 5:30 a.m., Acting Police Chief John Uzzalino said. Woman's Body Found In Vacant Totowa Home
A woman's body was found inside of a vacant multi-family home in Totowa on Tuesday, authorities said. Police were called to the Totowa Road home just before 1:30 p.m. on reports of a strange odor, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Totowa Police Chief Robert Coyle.
