Hackensack Men Seriously Injured In Route 1&9 Crash In Jersey City, Prosecutor Says
Two Hackensack men were hospitalized with serious injuries in a crash on Route 1&9 in Jersey City overnight, authorities said.
Two Honda Accords collided between Duncan and Communipaw avenues just after 4 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 14, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said.
The driver of the black Accord, a 21-year-old Jersey City man, suffered minor injuries while the driver of the white Accord, a 34-year-old man from Hackensack, was seriously injured, as was his passenger, a 32-year-old Hackensack resident, police said.

A Hudson County man who was found lifeless behind a building earlier this month has been confirmed as a homicide victim after investigators determined he was beaten to death, officials said.

A 34-year-old Hudson County man was jailed after police said he walked into a local police station and called 9-1-1 over a scented candle, and continued with similar behavior until he was jailed later that day, police said.
