Internet Buzzing About Teaneck Artist's Trump, Clinton Cakes

TEANECK, N.J. — A Teaneck cake artist made the victory cake for 2016 presidential elect Donald Trump.

It started when Melissa Alt, 24, made a Hilary Clinton cake for a private client. But she decided to make one for Trump as well.

As fate would have it, her manager had connections to Donald Trump Jr., who decided to use her creation as the official victory cake in Trump Tower.

She began the process a week ago and each cake took 50 hours, Alt told Daily Voice. The heads are made out of modeling chocolate and the bodies are cake covered in fondant.

Trump's cake in particular had several Twitter users talking.
