Wyckoff Pedestrian Hospitalized After Crash A 57-year-old Wyckoff resident was hospitalized with injuries that weren’t considered life-threatening after being struck by a car Thursday night, authorities said. The victim was crossing Crescent Avenue going east when she was struck around 6:40 p.m. by the vehicle as its driver – a 38-year-old Wyckoff woman – turned left from eastbound Franklin Avenue, Lt. Joseph Soto. The Wyckoff Ambulance Corps took her to the Valley Hospital in Ridgewood. The driver remained at the scene. No summonses were immediately issued, Soto said. Pedestrian, 84, Struck In Wyckoff An 84-year-old Wyckoff woman was hospitalized with injuries that authorities didn't consider life-threatening after she was struck at a busy intersection around noon. The 57-year-old Waldwick driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation after her 2018 Ford Edge struck the victim around 11:50 a.m., Lt. Joseph Soto said.  No summonses were immediately issued, he said. The Wyckoff Police Traffic Bureau was investigating. The Wyckoff Ambulance Corps and paramedics from The Valley Hospital responded along with police.

Visiting Driver, 84, Plows BMW Into First-Floor Room Of Wyckoff Home UPDATE: An 84-year-old New York State woman was hospitalized for evaluation after crashing her 2018 BMW through a wall and into a Wyckoff home she'd been visiting, authorities said. Police helped get the driver out of the sedan after it got wedged a first-floor room of the Harding Road home just before noon, Lt. Joseph Soto said. She was then taken to a local hospital for further evaluation after being treated by members of the Wyckoff Ambulance Corps, he said. Occupants of the home weren't injured.
