The extent of injuries couldn't immediately be determined after the hospitalized driver's older-model Toyota Highlander collided with a Ford Explorer at the corner of Franklin Avenue and North Walnut Stree. A Ridgewood Emergency Services ambulance took the victim to The Valley Hospital in Ridgewood. Firefighters Extricate Victim, Summons Issued Following Ridgewood Crash A female passenger was hospitalized after Ridgewood firefighters extricated her from a minivan that collided with a Honda Civic sedan Sunday night. Both vehicles sustained extensive damage and had to be towed following the crash at Franklin Avenue and North Walnut Street shortly before 9 o'clock. The minivan passenger was taken to the Valley Hospital in Ridgewood with a neck injury. A Honda sedan also sustained severe damage in the Ridgewood crash.Boyd A. The driver was alone when his Subaru slammed into a tree and rolled just off the corner of Linwood Avenue and North Walnut Street near Graydon Park shortly after 9:30 p.m. Several bags of Love Corn snacks carried in dozens of boxes spilled out the back.
