The collision occurred at the corner of Lincoln and Loretto avenues when a 2010 Nissan driven by a 57-year-old Oak Ridge man knocked a 2007 Honda CR-V into the corner eatery known as First on the Hawthorne side of the street across from Fair Lawn shortly before 6:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 19. Alyssa's Law: Panic Alarms May Go In New Jersey Schools A proposed bill to install panic alarms and red emergency lights in New Jersey schools honors former Woodcliff Lake teen Alyssa Alhadeff who died in the mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting in Parkland, Fla. The bill (A-764) was passed Monday by the Assembly Education Committee in Trenton. "Alyssa's Law" requires all public elementary and secondary schools be equipped with a panic alarm for use in a school security emergencies including evacuations, lockdowns or active shooter situations.
