A Passaic County Health Department employee was hospitalized after the SUV that she was driving was T-boned in Ridgewood. The worker had just visited a patient at the Valley Hospital in Ridgewood when the crash occurred Sunday night, her brother said. The Chevy Blazer was headed eastbound on Linwood Avenue when it was rammed by a Jeep Wrangler headed south on Walthery Avenue shortly before 8:30 p.m. Oct. 8. A pregnant woman being driven to the hospital gave birth after a brand-new SUV was involved in a collision just off Route 17. Van Splits Utility Pole On Route 4 Approach
A van slammed into a utility pole, splitting it, just off westbound Route 4 on Friday. The driver of the Chevrolet Astro van was checked out at the scene and released following the crash just past Lakeview Street on the Grand Avenue approach to the highway in River Edge shortly before noon Aug. 4.
