Police Chief Thomas Juliano said Isa Ahmad broke into a Cliff Street business and took the fragrances on Sept. 18.

Investigators armed with search warrants hit several locations, recovering most of the stolen items, which Juliano said were returned to the business owner.

"Additional merchandise also believed to be stolen was recovered as well," he said.

Ahmad remained held on $35,000 bail in the Bergen County Jail, charged with possession of stolen property.

Juliano, meanwhile, thanked Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli and his Special Investigations Squad for their work on the case.
