“Apparently the truck took off just as he got on,” Glen Rock Police Chief Fred Stahman told the web site. “His foot got caught on the step on the back of the truck. He fell off and rolled down the street a bit.”
Nahshon Harris, 19, of Paterson, apparently hurt his back in the fall, the chief said.
He was taken to the emergency room at Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, and “looks to be OK,” he said.
