After School Program At Wayne YMCA Starts In September

WAYNE, N.J. -- Applications are now being accepted for the Wayne YMCA after school program, which begins Sept. 3.

The program will focus on nurturing the potential of every child with homework help and STEM activities in a safe environment.

Children in grades K-5 receive, 

  • Free transportation from Wayne Public Schools 
  • Dedicated staff 
  • National Healthy U program using the CATCH Curriculum 
  • STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) 
  • Recreational swim 
  • Healthy snacks 
  • Structured homework time

Daily Activities include: 

  • Archery
  • Cooking
  • Dance
  • Arts and crafts
  • Dramatics
  • Basketball
  • Soccer 

Program is available daily after schol until 7 p.m. 

Cost is, 

  • $304/month, 5 days/week
  • $221/month, 3 days/week

Program follows the Wayne Public School Calendar. 

Advanced resistration is required.
