Swan Products, a leading company in garden hose manufacture, is focusing more on products that offer efficient water use, according to the website.

The company increased its production of soaker hoses while other companies were cutting back, based on its prediction that the incidence of droughts are going to increase across the country in the coming years, northjersey.com said. The company is now developing a drip irrigation system for home owners, in response to a general increase in demand for soaker hoses.

Swan uses the trademark phrase "The Watering Company" after its name, and sells hoses under the brand names Swan, Elements and WaterWorks, as well as licensing agreements to produce hoses under the Scotts and Miracle-Gro brands. Swan is at 999 Riverview Drive, Totowa.
