Rahway Brothers Killed In Irvington Homicide Authorities are investigating a double homicide in Irvington. Malik A. McCallister, 38, and Tarik R. Barnes, 42, lived together in Rahway and were both shot July 4 on Montrose Terrace around midnight, Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Authorities ID Man Killed In Weekend Irvington Shooting Authorities have identified the 28-year-old victim of a weekend Irvington shooting. Ricky Alston, of Irvington, was shot on the 800 block of Stuyvesant Avenue Sunday, Nov. 22, Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Stephens, II, and Irvington Police Director Tracy Bowers said. Alston, formerly of Newark, was transported to Beth Israel Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 5:05 p.m., they said.
