Contract Of Newly-Hired NJ Schools Super Rescinded Days Before Start Date
Ramapo-lndian Hills Regional High School has rescinded the contract of its brand-new superintendent just days before he was set to officially take office. In its Thursday, June 27 meeting, the district's Board of Education voted 5-0-3 to rescind the contract of Dr. Ronnie Tarchichi, which would have gone into effect on July 1. On May 28, the Board voted 9-0 in favor of approving Tarchichi's contract. Early Dismissals For These Somerset County Districts Ahead Of Snow Storm
School districts across New Jersey have begun announcing schedule changes for Friday, Jan. 19, ahead of the second snow storm of the week. Parts of the state could see up to six inches of snow, expected to begin falling between 4 a.m. and 7 a.m. Friday, the National Weather Service said. 19: North Jersey District Reports 8 More Cases, Bringing Total To 19 Since September
A North Jersey school district reported an additional eight COVID-19 cases in the last week. Since September, Ridgewood has reported 19 cases. The most recent cases were reported at the following schools: Nov. 13: One case at Hawes Elementary School linked to out-of-school exposure.
