Wakefield High School Junior Killed By SUV While Riding Scooter: Reports A 16-year-old recently died after he was hit by an SUV while riding a scooter in Alexandria, according to NBC4 Washington.  On August 27, Miguel Rivera was hit by a car at Sanger Avenue and North Beauregard Street as he rode home from work on a scooter, the website said. Officers arrived just before 10:30 p.m. and Rivera was in the ICU for week before succumbing to his injuries, reports said. Pizza Hut on Tuesday, September 6, authorities said.At around 2:10 p.m., officials reported to the restaurant in the 1500 block Maryland Ave, where they saw a car had crashed through the glass windows and was partially inside the Pizza Hut, according to D.C. Fire and EMS. No injuries or entrapment were reported, but the driver was evaluated at the scene by medical officials, authorities said. The building inspector was notified, although a collapse rescue team reported there was no structural damage at the scene.

Felder was taken to a local hospital and despite all life-saving efforts, he was pronounced dead, authorities reported.
