IDs Released In Action News NJ Helicopter Crash
Action News has released the names of the pilot and team photographer killed in a helicopter crash Tuesday night, Dec. 19 in New Jersey. Monroe Smith, 67, of Glenside, PA, was the pilot, and Christopher Dougherty, 45, of Oreland, PA, was the photographer, according to the news station. They had departed from the Northeast Philadelphia Airport before 7:30 p.m., in a Eurocopter AS350B2, headed toward Galloway Township, NJ, according to the FAA and 6abc. Skeletal Remains Of Missing New Jersey Man Found In Wharton State Forest By Hunter
Skeletal remains found in Waterford Township were identified as Cherry Hill missing person Peter Myers, authorities said. Myers, 68, was reported missing to the Cherry Hill Police Department by family members on June 7. On Tuesday, Oct. 4, a man hunting in a remote section of Wharton State Forest saw what appeared to be human skeletal remains and contacted the Waterford Township Police Department, local police said. These NJ Parks Reached Capacity This Weekend
Nearly half-a-dozen New Jersey state parks were closed after reaching capacity this weekend. Residents eager for fresh air flocked to the state's parks and golf courses bright and early Saturday and Sunday, May 16 and 17 -- the third weekend since Gov.
