Baby Dies After Being Left In Car In Morris County: Prosecutor
Authorities in Morris County are investigating the death of a 6-month-old infant on Wednesday, July 17. Police were called to a parking lot near South Ridgedale Avenue at Route 10 in East Hanover around 1:30 p.m. where they found the baby girl in a parked vehicle, Morris County Prosecutor Robert Carroll said. Paramedics attempted to render lifesaving aid and the baby was taken to the hospital where she was pronounced dead. The New Jersey Attorney General’s Office has released radio communications and bodycam footage of the police response to a deadly pedestrian crash involving a police vehicle last November. Police in Newark are investigating the death of a 40-year-old found with head trauma and lacerations in broad daylight, they said. Michael Castro, a city resident, was found by officers responding to a service call on the 100 block of Stone Street around 12:25 p.m. Friday, Jan. 26, Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N.
