Saddle Brook Sixth-Graders Win Lead Essay Contest

SADDLE BROOK, N.J. -- The Saddle Brook Police Department on Tuesday congratulated the winners of the sixth-grade LEAD -- Law Enforcement Against Drugs -- essay contest.

The winners are Natalie Escobar, of Smith School, Julia Bednarz, of Franklin School, and Caroline Kaprelian, of Long School.

The department also thanked Caelen Mahoney in a Wednesday Facebook post, "for her beautiful performance in singing the National Anthem," to open the ceremony.
