ELMWOOD PAR, N.J. -- Josephine Kozack, of Elmwood Park, died Wednesday, Aug. 24. She was 93.
Born in Passaic, raised in Clifton, she’s been a resident of Elmwood Park for the past 67 years.
She was a parishioner of St. Joseph’s Church in Passaic. She belonged to the Oasis Club at Bergen Community College in Paramus.
She was the wife of the late Edmund; mother of Robert A., Elaine Gate and her husband Sean and the late Richard E.; sister of the late Stephanie Sudol; and grandmother of Karina and Kyril.
There will be a funeral at 10 a.m. Monday at the Patrick J. Conte Funeral Home Inc., 274 Market St., Elmwood Park followed by a 11 a.m. funeral Mass at St. Joseph’s Church, 7 Parker Ave., Passaic. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery in Paterson. Visiting hours will be from 2-6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
