Former Bridgwater Officer, West Milford Special Officer Thomas Dinan Dies
Thomas Dinan, a police officer in West Milford, died on Tuesday, July 30, 10 days after his 66th birthday, the department announced.
Dinan joined the West Milford Police Department in June 2018 as a Class II special officer, assisting with traffic details, township events, prisoner watches and transports and court security, police said.

North Jersey native, NYU performer, and beloved father of two young children Sean Patrick McCleaver died unexpectedly on Tuesday, Feb. 1. He was 33.
Born in Ridgewood, McCleaver grew up in Wanaque and graduated from Homestead High School in 2006, his obituary says.
McCleaver was a talented performer, singer, and piano player who appeared in several films for NYU before moving to Warwick, NY, where he lived at the time of his death, according to his memorial.

Lineman Electrocuted In Warwick Was North Arlington Native
A 51-year-old North Arlington native was one of two linemen electrocuted Monday while on a job in Warwick, N.Y., authorities confirmed.
Derrick Paris, a father of two who lived in West Caldwell, was on an assignment with E-J Electric for Orange & Rockland Utilities when he and co-worker Justin McLoughlin, 28, of Trenton, Ga., were killed.
Both Paris and his partner were veterans with decades of experience between them, authorities said.

Franklin Lakes PF: Three Traffic Stops In 24 Hours All Net Arrests On Outstanding Warrants
Three weekend traffic stops in less than 24 hours turned up a trio of drivers each wanted for skipping court in other towns, Franklin Lakes police said.
The first came at 10:23 PM, when Officer Ryan Sweeney stopped Andrew Uvegas, 28, of Warwick, NY on Colonial Road and found warrants out of Maywood and Ringwood, Capt. John Bakelaar said.
