Molinaro Pushes Through Electronic Vehicle Purchase DUTCHESS COUNTY, N.Y. -- Dutchess County employees could soon be driving electric cars if the County Legislature approves a resolution from County Executive Marc Molinaro for the purchase of four Nissan Leaf Model S electric vehicles. Police Cruiser Crashes In Westchester A New York State trooper was involved in a two-car crash in Yonkers on Thursday afternoon that slightly injured the trooper and another person. The crash occurred around 2 p.m. when the state police were dispatched to investigate a personal injury accident on the  Bronx River Parkway in Yonkers, said Trooper Michael Cassella. One of the vehicles involved in the crash was a marked New York State Police vehicle. Both the trooper and the other driver sustained non-life threatening injuries, Cassella said. Beacon Man Sentenced For Sexually Abusing Young Girl For Months A Beacon man who sexually abused a girl under the age of 11 for several months will spend 18 years in state prison after pleading guilty to a sex crime, according to the Dutchess County District Attorney's Office. Body Of 22-Year-Old Bear Mountain Bridge Jumper Recovered The body of a woman who jumped from the Bear Mountain Bridge in April was recovered in the Hudson River Wednesday night after the occupants of a cabin cruiser passing through the area spotted the body and notified police. The woman is a 22-year-old resident of Rockland County. Her identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin, said Kieran O'Leary, spokesman for the Westchester County Sheriff's Office. Pleasant Valley Teen Used Fake ID At Dutchess County Jail, Sheriff Says An 18-year-old Pleasant Valley woman was arrested Wednesday for criminal impersonation after presenting a fake ID when trying to visit an inmate at the Dutchess County Jail, according to the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office. Pawling's Diego Bueti, Barber Shop Owner, 98 Diego Bueti of Pawling died at his home on Monday, Aug. 28, with his wife of 72 years, Alice Bueti, and his family at his side. He was 98.  Bueti was born to Serafino and Grazia Bueti in Chappaqua, along with his twin brother, Tony on Jan. 16, 1919. All of his seven siblings predeceased him. Bueti was raised in the small town of Solano, Italy from the age of 2 until he returned to Chappaqua at the age of 16 in 1935.
