He started as a radio news reporter at Newsradio 850 KOA in Denver shortly after leaving the University of Colorado at Boulder. Gomez then went on to work as a reporter in Seattle, Houston, Dallas and Washington DC, where he was a National Correspondent for NBC News Radio.

He has appeared on National Television in the US, the UK and in Pakistan as a reporter and commentator.

Massive Fire Tears Through Baltimore Building Baltimore firefighters responded to a four-alarm fire at an apartment building in the Charles North neighborhood early Wednesday. The fire started at about 4:30 a.m. in the building at West 22nd Street and Maryland Avenue and quickly spread to the point that flames were shooting out of the roof. Nobody was injured in the blaze, but it took over 100 firefighters to control. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

The Laurel store was closed last week, according to an internal memo obtained by Reuters, because several people at the store had reportedly contracted COVID-19. Walmart did not confirm the information It was one of almost 60 Walmart locations in the US that had to be shut down in December due to COVID-19.
