Christopher Foxon, 29, of Garfield was released pending a hearing in Ridgewood Municipal Court, village police said.

Police investigated the “meter man” for a month before arresting him yesterday on charges of tampering with official documents.

“There were more than enough [summonses writte] to show a pattern,” Detective Chris McDowell told CLIFFVIEW PILOT.

Foxon has worked for the village parking utility authority nearly four years, records show.
