Home Invaders Posed As Police Officers, Restrained Children In Bergen County House: Prosecutor
A New York trio has been arrested in connection with a home invasion earlier this month in Bergen County, authorities said.
Diogenes A. Rosario, 49, of New York, NY; Leonel Perez, 38, of New York, NY; and Misael Diaz, 38, of Yonkers, broke into a multi-family home on Crescent Lane in Cliffside Park around 1:50 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 12, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said.
All three were wearing dark-colored clothing and facemasks, and were outwardly displaying imitation police-style badges, portraying themselves as police officers, Musella said.

A 40-year-old Westchester County, NY man was arrested in Bergen County, NJ after police linked him to a string of commercial burglaries, they said.
Marlon A. Stewart, of Mount Vernon, burglarized three commercial properties from the roof in Closter overnight on Aug. 29, Closter Police Capt. Vincent Aiello said.
In one incident, Stewart removed a large safe and threw it out of a second-floor window and into the borough parking lot, Aiello said.

Bicyclist From Englewood Hospitalized In 9W Crash, Driver From Westchester, 79, Cited
A 79-year-old driver from Westchester County was ticketed after she struck and injured a 42-year-old bicyclist from Englewood on Route 9W, authorities said.
The bicyclist was hit by the Toyota Corolla at Palisades Interstate Parkway Exit 4 shortly after 3 p.m. Sunday, June 11, Alpine Acting Police Chief Matthew S. Kent said.
