Speeding Teen Flips Car, Takes Down Fire Hydrant In New Milford Crash, Police Say A 19-year-old driver from New Milford lost control of his car and flipped it onto its side in a high-speed crash early Sunday morning, March 9, police said. New Milford Police received multiple 911 calls around 4:18 a.m., about a single-car crash in front of 632 Asbury St., according to Police Chief Brian Clancy. Officers arrived alongside the New Milford Fire Department and Holy Name EMS to find the wrecked vehicle and a damaged fire hydrant.
