A 21-year-old New Jersey native is impressing judges on NBC's "The Voice." Mara Justine, who hails from Galloway, won a singing battle as she harmonized with Claudia B., 25, in their rendition of "Son of a Preacher Man" on the Tuesday, Oct. 31 episode. Reba McEntire was the only judge who preferred Claudia's performance, but was impressed by both singers' talent given their ages. Pete Davidson Coming to BergenPAC, Red Bank's Count Basie
New Jersey has three Pete Davidson shows ahead. The 29-year-old comic has booked two shows at Red Bank's Hackensack Meridian Health Theater at Count Basie on Saturday, Nov. 18, and one show at BergenPAC in Englewood on Sunday, Nov. 19. Davidson, who is hosting "Saturday Night Live" on Oct. 14, will be in the Garden State as part of his stand-up comedy tour across the U.S. The comic was a cast member on SNL from 2-14 to 2022, and is the creator, executive producer, writer and star of Peacock's critically acclaimed comedy "Bupkis." A New Jersey boy choir got the once-in-a-lifetime chance to sing alongside Canadian pop singer Michael Bublé on national television. The Princeton Boychoir appeared with Bublé in his most recently NBC Christmas special, “Christmas in the City,” on Dec. 6, New Jersey Stage reports. The group’s members range from ages 9 to 13 and shared the stage with Bublé for his grand finale — a modern version of yuletide classic, Silent Night.
