22-Year-Old Driver Killed In I-295 Crash
A 22-year-old driver was killed in a crash on I-295 early Sunday, Oct. 8, police said. Cameron Boyle, of Morris Plains, was heading north in a Honda when he lost directional control and ran off the roadway to the right, hitting a tree and concrete bridge support, New Jersey State Police Detective I Jeffrey Lebron said. It happened at 3:44 a.m. on the northbound side, at milepost 63 in Hamilton Township, police said. Boyle died in the accident, which remains under investigation.

The body of a 4-year-old boy reported missing was found submerged in the bottom of a New Jersey lake Thursday, July 14, authorities said. Police were called to Overlook Avenue near John A. Roebling Memorial Park in Hamilton Township on reports of a missing child around 5 p.m., approximately 40 minutes after he'd last been seen, local police said.
