The bicycle was seen on its side on the road's shoulder behind the unmarked black Ford Explorer that hit it on Willow Grove Street (Route 604) outside the Hackettstown Senior Housing Development off Brook Hollow Drive an hour before sunrise on Monday, Feb. 5. Woman Dies In Fiery Crash On NJ Turnpike Authorities have identified the driver who died in a fiery crash just off the New Jersey Turnpike Wednesday, March 16. Yvena Louis, 36, of Bayonne, was heading east on the Hudson Bay extension in Jersey City when her Nissan Quest went off the roadway near milepost 5.5, New Jersey State Police spokeswoman Brandi Slota said The car then struck a tree and went up in flames around 12:50 p.m.  Louis was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash remains under investigation.

The fatal crash occurred at 2:12 p.m. in a northbound lane of the parkway in Toms River, according to a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police. The parkway experienced heavy traffic delays in both directions as state troopers investigated the crash scene, reports said. ID Released For Woman Killed In Route 9W Crash The driver of a car involved in a fatal crash Friday on Route 9W in Congers has been identified as a local woman, according to Clarkstown Police. Helen Cifuni, 57, of Congers sustained massive injuries during the crash around 5:20 p.m. Friday in the area of 259 Route 9W, said Clarkstown Police Officer Peter Walker.  Cifuni was pronounced dead at the scene of the single-vehicle crash by paramedics.
