Cheryl Arena's GoFundMe for Kyle Arena, of Totowa, had raised more than $14,000 as of Sunday night, Sept. 29. A South Jersey man charged with setting off a bomb outside a nearby gym last month had a "substantial" amount of bomb-making materials along with instructions, body-armored tactical vests and more, federal authorities said Friday.
Surveillance video shows Dwayne A. Vandergrift Jr., 35, placing an explosive device on the front door of GCity Crossfit Gym near his home in Gloucester City and running away around 4 a.m. Aug. 26, U.S. Attorney Craig Carpenito said.
The bomb detonated, knocking out the front door and shattering its glass, Carpenito said.

'Dozens If Not More Lives Saved' By Slain Jersey City Detective, Federal Authorities Say
Slain veteran Jersey City Police Detective Joseph Seals likely prevented dozens of other deaths that day, authorities said Monday.
Seals, 40, of Lyndhurst, was investigating the death of a livery driver in Bayonne when David Anderson, 47, and Francine Graham, 50, shot him in the Bayview Cemetery just before 12:30 p.m. Dec. 10, and drove off, U.S. Attorney Craig Carpenito said.
