NJ Man Charged With Voter Fraud
A Hunterdon County man was arrested for pretending to be someone else on a mail-in ballot, authorities said Saturday. Brian C. Shilling, 53, of Stockton, "falsely completed the ballot, forging the signature of another certifying the ballot and sending in the fraudulent ballot to the Hunterdon County Board of Elections purporting that it was cast by another," Acting Hunterdon County Prosecutor Michael J. A Rochelle Park Township Committee member who accused Mayor Nicholas LiBassi of using his wheelchair as a “prop” to get elected has been censured by a majority of her colleagues. “The only reason you got elected was because of your wheelchair,” Committeewoman Linda Boniface told the mayor during a June closed session, according to a censure resolution approved by a 3-2 vote late last month. Mahwah Mayor John Roth admitted that he was drunk when he removed his pants and passed out in a township employee’s bed during a house party earlier this month, according to a published report.
