The Paramus native comes to the Daily Voice with a rich background in the workings of community government, education and lifestyles in Bergen and Passaic counties. She is the founder of hyperlocal news sites Midland Park Press and Northwest Bergen Press.

Abma joined the Daily Voice in August 2015 to launch the North Jersey sites.

Moody's Upgrades Paramus To AAA Bond Rating PARAMUS, N.J. — The Borough of Paramus now boasts a AAA bond rating, the highest there is, according to Moody’s Investors Service. “The upgrade to AAA rating reflects the borough's strong financial operations with healthy reserve levels, sizeable tax base, conservative management practices, strong socioeconomic wealth levels, and low debt burden,” Moody’s stated in the report. Ronald Laube is suing the city and its fire chief, claiming he was subjected to harassment and slander, northjersey.com reports.
