High School Wrestling State Tournament Seeding Set

BERGEN COUNTY, N.J. -- The draw for New Jersey's state high school wrestling tournaments were released and several Bergen County athletes secured top seeding, according to NorthJersey.com.

Six wrestlers from Bergen Catholic earned top seeds, including Nick Suriano, who is looking to become only the second wrestler in state history to finish his career with a perfect record and four state titles. Gerard Angelo, Christopher Foca, Shane Griffith, Joe Grello and Kevin Mulligan also earned No. 1 seeds in the tournament in their respective weight classes, NorthJersey.com reported.

Hasbrouck Heights’ Mickey O’Malley, Don Bosco’s Kyle Bierdumpfel and Paramus’ Alex Sebahie were also named top seeds, NorthJersey.com said.
