Township police said Jennifer Westcott, 41, called them yesterday and said her boyfriend had taken her car and left her on the Garden State Parkway, where she was walking.

Cpl. Thomas Lawton and Officer Vincent Montalbano were dispatched to check the parkway and Westcott’s Cleveland Avenue home, where they found the car, police said.

Police said they requested a Bergen County K-9 unit, which found Westcott sleeping in her garage. Besides the false incrimination count, police charged her with illegally possession a prescription drug.
