Something you hardly ever see: Geese who usually hang at Westwood Cemetery grazing on Old Hook

The driver walked away with barely a scratch after the 6:30 a.m. rollover this morning.

Utility workers quickly had a new pole in place. But Old Hook Road between Kinderkamack Road and Sand Road remained closed at 2 p.m. while police waited for the phone company to complete its work.

An Optimum worker was on the scene about an hour earlier.
