Port Authority PD arrests driver, passenger on drug, ammo charges after Holland Tunnel crash

BEYOND BERGEN: A 19-year-old driver from Allentown, PA, was unsteady on his feet and said he’d “smoked weed” after his car hit an inside wall of the Holland Tunnel into New Jersey, Port Authority police said today.

Police found the grey Infiniti at 14th Street in Jersey City, the authority’s Joseph Pentangelo said.

They arrested Noel Bautista for driving while impaired and reckless driving, then turned up Clonazepam, a prescription drug, and a single hollow-point bullet.

Bautista and his passenger, 18-year-old Jose Ortiz, also of Allentown, were charged with illegal possession of prescription drugs and possession of illegal ammunition.
