Plane barreling down Teterboro landing strip stopped before it hits Route 46

A G-4 Gulfstrem jet overshot the Teterboro Airport runway and was barreling toward the Route 46 fence when the concrete “arrestor bed” at the end of the strip did its job, crumbling under the weight of the craft and slowing it to a stop Friday afternoon.
