Park Ridge man takes 20-foot mall leap — and gets arrested, hospitalized

BEYOND BERGEN: A 21-year-old Park Ridge man leaped 20 feet from the second level of the Palisades Center Mall in Nyack this afternoon on a what sources said was a $50 bet from a friend — and ended up with a busted leg and a court date on reckless endangerment charges.

Clarkstown police said they found Nicholas DiBlasi on the floor — conscious but dazed and apparently intoxicated — after the 12:25 p.m. stunt in a well-trafficked pedestrian area near Macy’s, according to the Nyack Free Press.
