Dairy Queen officials said they have no evidence to this point that hackers obtained Social Security or PIN numbers or email addresses.
The Park Ridge site, on Kinderkamack Road, is one of 395 locations around the country — and one of only two in New Jersey — affected by the data breach, company officials said. The other New Jersey site is in Plainfield in Union County.
Customers who used plastic at either locations on Aug. 4 or Aug. 29 should “remain vigilant by reviewing your account statements,” the DQ parent company said.
Dairy Queen is offering free identity repair services for one year to customers who used their debit or credit cards at any of the affected stores.
