WOODCLIFF LAKE, NJ -- An Ocean County motorcyclist who would have turned 30 on Sunday was killed Saturday afternoon when his bike hit a guardrail on the northbound Garden State Parkway in Woodcliff Lake, throwing him.
The 2001 Yamaha driven by Enrique Castillo-Ramos of Lakewood "ran off the road to the right and struck the guardrail, ejecting him" at milepost 168.7 at 1:27 p.m., New Jersey State Police Sgt. Jeff Flynn told Daily Voice.
"The vehicle continued across all three lanes and ended up in the center grass median," he said.
Castillo was taken to Hackensack University Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, the sergeant said.
An investigation was continuing, he said.
