Hillsdale police: Downtown Manhattan commuter made fake bus pass at home

YOU READ IT HERE FIRST: A 36-year-old Hillsdale man rode the bus to his job in downtown Manhattan every day using a pass he created on his home computer before being caught, borough police said today.

Simon A. Wilson was released on a summons to appear in Municpal Court after an alert employee for Rockland Coaches spotted the pass for a phony, police said.

Wilaon was arrested following an investigation by borough Detective Sgt. Sean Smith, Sgt. Chris Donaldson and Detective Adam Hampton.

He is charged with theft of services, forgery and criminal simulation.
