Gas odor closes Banchetto Feast, Westwood area businesses

YOU READ IT HERE FIRST: Banchetto Feast in Westwood and the surrounding businesses have been evacuated as fire officials and PSE&G investigate a gas leak.

Employees there reported smelling an odor of something electrical burning around the same time that the Center Avenue business lost power around 4:30 this afternoon.

Several Center Avenue businesses were then evacuated and the power cut.

Hillsdale firefighters joined their Westwood counterparts at the scene.
