Car rolls over on Garden State Parkway in Washington Township

YOU SAW IT HERE FIRST: A driver was taken to The Valley Hospital in Ridgewood after a rollover on the Garden State Parkway in Washington Township this morning.

The Honda Civic was headed south when it rolled and came to rest on the driver’s-side shoulder near mile marker 166.1 around 7:15 a.m.

The township Volunteer Ambulance Corps transported the driver to the hospital with injuries that didn’t appear life-threatening. The car was removed by a flatbed tow truck. Township and New Jersey State Police responded, as well.

Traffic on the parkway continued to move at the speed limit throughout the crash investigation and removal of the vehicle.
