Brawl at Montvale hotel ends quickly

ONLY ON CVP: Two large groups clashed at a Montvale hotel after its restaurant closed last night, but order was restored before police arrived.

None of the nearly two dozen people involved initially sought to sign complaints in the fight at the Courtyard by Marriott on Chestnut Ridge Road, Police Chief Jeremy Abrams told CLIFFVIEW PILOT this morning.

A woman was arrested on a drunk and disorderly offense, the chief said.

Police from surrounding communities assisted.
