Rasjahnon T. Roberts was arrested early Friday by members of the Mountain State Fugitive Task Force, a division of the U.S. Marshals Service, who found him at a motel in Williamsport, Md., a spokesman for the sheriff’s department in Mineral County, West Va., told CLIFFVIEW PILOT.
“The arrest was made without incident and he is currently being held at Washington County Detention Center pending extradition” to West Virginia, where he will face charges of first-degree murder, attempted murder and conspiracy, the spokesman said.
Authorities are still searching for a second suspect, Rasshammach Roberts, according to the sheriff’s office.
A barroom argument spilled into the parking lot of My Place, a private West Virginia club a short walk from a bridge leading into Maryland, in the early morning hours of Sunday, Sept. 4, they said.
Each Ryan brother was hit once – Ryan was pronounced dead soon afterward, and Richard is still clinging to life in a Maryland hospital, his family at his side.
Investigators quickly recovered the gun and identified both suspects.
