‘An Evening for Gavin’ to help North Jersey officer’s young son get kidney transplant

Organizers are hoping for a huge turnout next week at an event dedicated to raising some of the nearly $100,000 for a kidney transplant for Gavin Scimeca, the young son of River Vale Police Officer Anthony Scimeca and his wife, Tara. Gavin has Autosomal Recessive Polycystic Kidney Disease (ARPKD) and needs the transplant to survive.
