Many knew Salomone from when she owned and operated Arthur Angelo’s Hair Salon in New Milford.
“She made me laugh through the craziest times,” former co-worker Sandra Theriaque wrote. “She touched a lot of people.”
Salomone was “truly one of those people [who] deserve all the compliments -- beautiful inside and out.” Yvonne McKenzie Franklin added. “Funny sense of humor, and a super hard worker for her family.”
Salomone’s father, the late Harold Keller, was a longtime Westwood firefighter. She also was predeceased by her mother, Leona (nee Glasner) Keller.
She leaves daughters Darlene Taylor, and husband Michael; Doreen Castronovo-LoGuidice, and husband William; and Toni Ann Migliore and husband Luigi, along with grandchildren Samantha Taylor, Dominiquea and Giuseppe Castronovo, Arthur LoGuidice, and Nico and Matteo Migliore.
She is also survived by her loyal dog, Shelly.
Visiting is Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood.
A service at the funeral home is scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, followed by interment in Westwood Cemetery, also on Kinderkamack Road.
