WOODCLIFF LAKE, N.J. -- Dorothy J. Owens, 97, of Woodcliff Lake, died Wednesday, Oct. 12.
Owens worked in purchasing for Blue Cross Blue Shield in New York City for 15 years. In her retirement, she was a sales associate for B. Altman & Co. in Paramus until it closed in 1989.
She was a parishioner of Our Lady Mother of the Church.
She was predeceased by her husband, Raymond J. Owens.
She is survived by her cildren, Regina McLaren and her husband Brian, James Owens and his wife Mary; three grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
There will be a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Monday at Our Lady Mother of the Church, 209 Woodcliff Ave., Woodcliff Lake. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Sunday at the Robert Spearing Funeral Home Inc., 155 Kinderkamack Road, Park Ridge. Interment will be in Ascension Cemetery in Airmont.
