Kelly Henning of Modera Wealth Management, LLC of Westwood, N.J., is set to address the group’s meeting at 7:15 p.m. on May 11 at the Park Ridge Community Center, 55 Park Ave., Park Ridge.
Henning’s presentation, which is open to the public, is called “Financial Planning Tips for Parents of Young Children.” Those planning to attend should be ready to ask questions, according to a statement from the Woman’s Club.
Among the topics Henning is likely to address are the top financial planning mistakes made by parents of young children and how to avoid them, the various considerations that should be explored when researching 529 plans, the difference between primarily saving for retirement and primarily saving for college and the financial planning considerations for single-income families.
Refreshments will be served at the event. The Woman’s Club’s general club meeting will follow Henning’s presentation at 7:45 p.m.
