Readers this year finished "Wonder," by R.J. Palacio, a New York Times bestseller.

The book underlines the anti-bullying policy of the school district and encourages students to respect themselves and those around them, according to the library website.

"One Book Westwood reinforces the concept of teaching by example, parents model the value of reading for their children, teachers for their students, town leaders for the residents they serve, kids for their friends," the website says.
