American Legion Post Honors Park Ridge Businessman

PARK RIDGE, N.J. -- Commander Phil Langner of American Legion Post 162 of Hillsdale, Woodcliff Lake and Old Tappan recently presented a Legion Appreciation Certificate to Craig Smith of Rugged Outfitters in Park Ridge.

The certificate "was our way to say 'thank you' to Craig Smith and his father, David Smith," the post's Zoltan Horvath said.

The Smiths "generously offer discounts to veterans from veteran organizations in the local area" and "donate backpacks and winter clothing items to be distributed -- along with additional items the post purchased -- to homeless veterans in Bergen County," Horvath said.
