Four teenagers were arrested on Thursday, Sept. 12 and charged for their participation in an auto theft trafficking network in North Jersey, authorities said. Disturbing details have come to light in the case of a 41-year-old man arrested for sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl this month in North Jersey. A 26-year-old Rahway woman was sentenced to 10 years in state prison on Friday, Jan. 26 after being found guilty of fatally stabbing her mother on in Feb. 2020 authorities said. Malika Jones was sentenced after being convicted of aggravated manslaughter, Union County Prosecutor William Daniel and Rahway Police Director Nicholas Breiner said. A joint funeral service has been set for the Alarcon family, the Union family who authorities say were slain in a murder-suicide at the hands of their matriarch, the Union Funeral Home announced. NJ Amazon Driver's Killer Gets 25 Years Behind Bars: Prosecutor
A 28-year-old Plainfield man was sentenced to 25 years in prison for the fatal shooting of an Amazon driver in 2021. Quahif Lane's sentence for aggravated manslaughter was handed down on Friday, May 26, by Union County Superior Court Judge Stacy Boretz, Union County Prosecutor William Daniel said. In September 2021, Plainfield Police responded to the 200 block of Garfield Ave and found Jamar Harris, a 36-year-old Newark resident, suffering from a gunshot wound, Daniel said. Harris was pronounced dead at the scene, Daniel said.

A convicted carjacker who stole a Lyft driver's car after attacking hm and a passenger was sentenced to 29 years in New Jersey State Prison, authorities said.
